ABOUT thomas
I'm Thomas Porter, Ph.D., a fine art photographer living on a 200-acre farm named "Thimbleberry Farm" in Northern Virginia. Our farm derives its name from the large harvest of thimbleberries every summer that normally bloom in June.
I enjoy all types of photography. As you'll see, I take photos everywhere; however, our farm & the animals on the farm are my main inspirations. The farm is hilly & includes five ponds, several fields used for growing hay or Loblolly pines, & the Opequon Creek flows through the center of it all in what we call The Bottom.
I believe that art is art. Everything else is everything else.
I am based in Northern Virginia. For business inquiries, feel free to contact me.
